This Privacy Policy explains how LFN Coder ("we," "us," "our"), a service operated by TimasDev, LLC, collects, uses, stores, and protects information from students and users of our coding tuition services ("Services"). By enrolling in or using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to all students, parents/guardians of minor students, and website visitors interacting with LFN Coder, whether in person or online.
Age Requirement and Guardian Accounts
Our Services are available to students age 14 and older. We do not knowingly enroll or collect information from anyone under the age of 14.
If a student is between 14 and 17 years old, the enrolling parent or legal guardian is treated as our account holder and primary contact, not the student. In practice, this means:
- The guardian's name, email address, and (if applicable) phone number and payment details are used to create and manage the account.
- The guardian reviews and accepts this Privacy Policy, and consents on the student's behalf to the collection and use of the student's information as described here.
- The student's name is used only operationally — to address them during class sessions and on course/certificate records — and is not used to create an independent account or login.
- All communication regarding the account, billing, and data requests is directed to the guardian, not the student.
Guardians may contact us at any time (see Section 10) to review, correct, or request deletion of their own or their student's information.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our Services:
- Name — the student's name, to address them during classes, and (for students under 18) the guardian's name to identify the account.
- Date of birth (student's) — self-declared at enrollment, used solely to confirm eligibility under our age requirements (see Section 2) and to route the account correctly between guardian-managed and self-managed status.
- Email address — to create the account and communicate officially. For students under 18, this is the guardian's email.
- Address (optional) — only if you request in-person, at-home tuition, or request physical delivery of a certificate or reward.
- Phone number (optional) — not required for enrollment. If you choose to join a WhatsApp group chat (see Section 6), your phone number will be used for that purpose and may be visible to other group members. For students under 18, this is the guardian's number.
- Course and progress records — course enrollment, attendance, and completion status.
How We Store Your Information
Your information is stored using third-party infrastructure providers, specifically Supabase and Firebase. These providers act as data processors on our behalf, meaning they store and secure data under our direction but do not have independent rights to use it.
- We select providers that maintain industry-standard security certifications and practices.
- Where available, we maintain data processing agreements with these providers that restrict them from selling, sharing, or independently using your data.
- These providers have their own privacy and security policies, which govern the technical handling of data on their platforms. We encourage you to review the Supabase Privacy Policy and Firebase (Google) Privacy Policy for additional detail.
- We are not liable for a provider's independent breach of their own contractual obligations to us, but we take reasonable care in selecting and overseeing our providers.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party, and we contractually prohibit our processors from doing so on our behalf. We do not use your personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Payments
All payments are processed directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. For payments made via bank transfer, Zelle, or PayPal, those respective providers process and retain the transaction information directly.
- We never receive, view, transmit, or store your card number, bank account details, or other payment credentials.
- Any dispute regarding misuse of payment information by Stripe, PayPal, Zelle, or your bank is governed by that provider's own privacy policy and terms of service, as they act independently as the payment processor, not on our direction with respect to the payment credentials themselves.
Video Conferencing and Group Chat Tools
Classes are conducted live via Zoom or Google Meet. These platforms may independently collect information such as your video/audio feed, IP address, and session metadata according to their own privacy policies. We do not control or store recordings unless explicitly stated to you in advance for a specific course.
We may also set up optional group chats, via WhatsApp, Discord, or similar platforms, for a batch or across all students, so students can share knowledge with each other.
If you join a WhatsApp group, be aware that your phone number may be visible to other members of that group; platforms like Discord do not expose phone numbers to other members.
Contact us if you would prefer a platform, or setup, that does not expose your phone number, or to opt out of group chats entirely. These platforms independently collect and store information (such as your username, messages, and phone number where applicable) according to their own privacy policies.
Certificates and Skill Verification
Upon successful completion of a course, we may publish a certificate on our company website so that employers or institutions can verify your completion of the course.
You may opt out of public certificate listing at any time by contacting us; we will still provide you a private certificate for your own use.
All other information you share or generate during your course period is kept confidential and is not shared with any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
Legal Disclosures and Business Transfers
- We may disclose personal information when required by law, such as to respond to a court order or subpoena, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a student, our staff, or others.
- If LFN Coder is acquired, merged, or otherwise transfers all or part of its business, personal information may be included among the assets transferred, subject to this Privacy Policy or its successor.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our Services, specifically:
- Account and course records: for as long as your account remains active, plus 3 years afterward for record-keeping and certificate verification purposes.
- Financial/transaction records (excluding card data, which we never hold): as required by applicable tax and accounting law, typically 7 years.
After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Delete your information, subject to Section 9 legal retention exceptions.
- Withdraw consent for optional data uses, such as public certificate listing.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at timasdev@gmail.com. We will verify your request is legitimate and respond within 30 days.
Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law, and will describe the nature of the breach and steps being taken.

LFN Coder is operated under TimasDev, LLC, a company registered in Delaware. This policy is governed by the laws of the United States.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or the CCPA respectively; contact us for details specific to your jurisdiction.
